Those who do not know history are condemned to repeat it.

With this era, it will be of the utmost importance that we make sure the truth lives on and the real stories are told. You can bet the “history” that will be “official” and taught will not be the real truth. This is one area where the Internet will continue to play such a vital role (and why there are so many who want to restrict its use). Truth and real history can survive the barrage of lies and distortion it will surely face, but it’s up to us - the people, not the powers that be - to make sure it does survive and doesn’t get colored unjustly with the red, white & blue “America is always right” crayon.

And that includeds the true story of what really happened on 9-11, and not the laughably unbelievable “official” story.

If Horace’s waiting room were to take place here on Earth, rather than almost Heaven, would that look something like the Truth Commission set up in South Africa by Nelson Mandela?

An open question for me is whether there is life after death.

I used to be a Christian, and liked the idea of taking comfort in the Christian hope of a life hereafter.

And two of my favorite writers when I was a Christian were C. S. Lewis and J. B. Phillips. I particularly liked their arguments that our reason, and our sense of right and wrong, and justice, as well as our sense of beauty, truth, and goodness, would seem to point to or indicate some reality, some person or thing, higher than ourselves and the natural universe; something we might call God.

However, as it turned out, I felt that Christianity was of no help to me in enabling me to better deal with any source of pain, frustration, and unhappiness in my life, in the here and now. And nothing I have experienced in my 55 years has confirmed for me the reality of God, or of anything that might be considered supernatural.

Even so, I do not want to give up on the idea that our sense of justice, and right and wrong, just might be from something higher than ourselves. I have a hard time believing or accepting that our sense of such things is something that can be explained simply as the result of electrical or biochemical processes in our brains, or of purely natural processes.

I would presently consider myself closest to being a Deist. Deists believe in God, and believe in using common sense and reason to understand Him/Her (however He/She may be characterized). Deists reject any alleged revelation from God, such as the Bible; any alleged revelation is at best second-hand, or hearsay.

I do not want to believe that the hope of justice for a person dies along with that person.

I have heard and read about near-death experiences, and find it very interesting that they might possibly be an indication of something after this life. However I have never had any such experience myself (and do not feel it would be wise to wish for such an experience!), and I do not know of anybody I know personally having had such an experience. So I don’t feel in a position to evaluate the reports of near-death experiences.

Indeed. We’ve all seen how easy it was for the ‘official’ story to be foisted upon the world, through control of the media, tax-supported psi-ops, and endless repetition. The 9/11 Truth movement has shown the world how shoddy that story really is, and yet even with people like Charlie Sheen coming forward now to join the legions of others who have already spoken out, that same controlled media prevent the masses from hearing about it. When you consider that your own tax money is being used to suppress the truth that we all need to know, it becomes clear that this nation’s government is no longer in the business of protecting the citizens. We cannot afford to make the assumption that the actions taken by that government are for our benefit, or that those in power have anyone’s benefit but their own and their backers in mind. A government of, by, and for The People must be answerable only to flesh and blood people, and not to fictitious ones made of money and legalities.

I’ve had one of those. It’s scary. I think if it ever happened again I wouldn’t come back alive, there would just be a physical dead body there with no obvious cause of death.
