The GOP is looking pretty sick from the flu
Let’s quickly outline the contributions (that we know of) the GOP has made to our nation’s preparedness for flu pandemic. First, Susan Collins helped strip $780 million for pandemic-flu preparedness from the stimulus bill. Second, we have no health secretary in place to help deal with the potential crisis, because the GOP wanted to use the appointment of Kathleen Sebelius to play abortion politics.
You have to give the Republicans one thing: they’ve got incredible timing.

The Repugnant Party has started two endless wars, killing thousands; left a great American City to be devastated; trashed our economy and given us a huge deficit and enormous debt; supported and promoted torture; allowed 9/11 to occur; given us warrantless domestic spying; and basically damaged just about every aspect of American life. Isn’t that enough?! Apparently not. This group of disgusting, fanatic thugs has left us open to the horrors of a pandemic. They have become as destructive, vicious, unethical and ignorant as any fringe group in this country. Their inability to do ANYTHING positive and their lust for political revenge makes them dangerous. If you want to cut off your nose to spite your face, vote Republican, be a Dittohead, and follow the lead of an ass like Bonehead Boehner. We may or may not have a pandemic. If we do, I will have no sympathy for the fools and idiots in Congress who get Swine Flu; and voted to set us up for misery.
