I am sick of ads about Viagra, Cialis, and other medications. I am tired of ads about personal hygiene products. AOL pops up ads with women’s butts hanging out of a bikini for some product that will not stop “cheese butts”, but claims it will. Tastelessness is rampant in corporate America; along with greed, corruption, lying, shoddy products, unsafe products, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. I am not surprised about Steve getting an ad on his computer for muscular male organs. If you believe the ad agencies, all men should be copies of Greek gods; and women should aspire to be clones of Angelina Jolie. If you aren’t, there’s a product out there that claims to turn you into perfection.

For spam I have been using spamcop http://www.spamcop.net/ for several years. They provide a service for reporting spam to the proper ISP.

They also have a service for filtering e-mails, and for easily reporting multiple spam with just one or two clicks.

I have been quite happy with spamcop.

Recently I have been using gmail, which has its own spam filter, and which I think does its own reporting of spam (though I am not absolutely sure about that).

As always, of course, no filter is going to work perfectly.

I agree with Larkrise about corporate America promoting tastlessness and “perfection”.

One thing that has always bothered me personally is that body hair on women is something that has always been pretty much all but verboten. This has always been true about hair on women’s legs and underarms, but recently has been true about hair on women’s arms and private region as well. The plastic Barbie doll look has become the standard.

Razor and cosmetic companies have greatly profited from women, from early adolescence on, being convinced that body hair is something that is unacceptable and undesirable, and to be gotten rid of. This started with the Gilette razor company in 1915 marketing razors for women to get rid of their underarm hair.

It has always bothered me that just about everything has been acceptable in our society at some time since the 1960’s, except for natural body hair on women. It particularly bothered me in the 1960’s and 1970’s that it was OK for men to wear long (head) hair, but not for women to not shave their legs or underarms.

Since adolescence I have had an attraction to body hair on women. I have always particularly liked natural unshaven legs on women, but have also liked body hair in other places, such as arms, armpits, etc.

I find a woman who lets her natural body hair grow out, and who likes and is not ashamed of her natural state and her natural hair, to be very sexy.

I consider it to be just as appropriate for me to share my attraction to natural body hair on women as it is for gay people to share their attraction to people of the same sex.
