It seems that some Republicans have concluded that having their presidential candidates consistently refuse invitations to debate in black and Latino forums may, shall we say, send the wrong message in terms of GOP minority outreach.
And to think that some people claim there’re no rocket scientists left in the Grand Old Party.

Could it be that the right wing, which has overtaken the Republican Party, is chock full of bigots, racists, homophobes, cranks and crackpots? Nah, how can that be?!!!!!

I know people who are racists but over the years they had just shut up about it. No one wanted hear that talk and they knew it and kept it among themselves and probably their poor families. Now, you hear them again. They are emboldened by the animosity the “illegals” have engendered. (hey Chuck, is that a double entendre?)
It’s frightening that racists feel empowered. The GOP candidates that have snubbed all the Black and Latino debates know full well that in doing so they rally their base of racist, fundamentalist, warfreaks. They can have them and all that goes with them, including the hate, the ignorance and the fear.
