" A fool and his money are soon parted." We have had far too many fools the last 8 years; and quite a few before that. The Republican Party is controlled by them. And, if Barack Obama is not careful, he shall be joining their ranks. Like so many politicians, he has decided to surround himself with people that make him feel comfortable. He is more of a centrist than suspected. A wise man would listen to Paul Krugman. Dr. Krugman has been correct about the current upheaval and what caused it. His predictions have been correct. He has a Nobel Prize in Economics. President Obama is not showing the best judgment in keeping Dr. Krugman on the sidelines. Timothy Geithner would be one of the last people I would allow to run the show. As far as Blogs are concerned, it is one way to keep in touch with the voice of the people. For that reason alone, I would not dismiss them. Thousands of jobs were lost today. Tent cities are springing up around the country. Elkhart, Indiana, had to have food delivered to its unemployed citizens, like a Third World Country. If this isnt reason enough to seek sound and intelligent advice, I dont know what is.
