It's berserk, gone berserk.

I hope you're right about that fear factor, Steve. I know many people who are still scared...of everything. Some people may have been paralyzed and confused for so long, that they can't think straight....if at all.
But, yes , this era of GOP rule and GOP reality is over. They offer nothing but the past, nothing but hatred and empty rhetoric. They dare not mention the name of the man they've spent the last seven years protecting and cowering before like puppets.
Great post, Steve.
Hate and fear and greed.......all they've got left and all they thought they'd ever need.

Here's the way things finally worked out:

After young Georgie left office and returned to his "ranch" in Crawford, the whole state of Texas was ceded to Mexico. The borders and air space were immediately secured. All land land and personal property were likewise confiscated and and put under the control of the federal government. No one was allowed to leave without personally going to Mexico City and petitioning the Government. Spokes persons were not accepted as alternates.

Once there, since not being a subject of U.S. law, there was no immunity from international law. He was immediately shackled and put in an orange jump suit and flown to the Hague.

After the trial and sentencing to life in prison, a deal was made with Mexico to return part of Texas back to the U.S., though considerably smaller than it had been.

Cheney's pace maker quit and he died a slow and agonizing death.

Rumsfeld became so paranoid he wouldn't leave his house even to smell the roses. He also died an agonized old man.

Not that I have anything against this administration. I just haven't figured out what to do with Rove yet. I guarantee it won't be a happy ending for him either.

And Steve, don't forget this is all part of the Reagan legacy, just put to the nth power. Just look at his proposed budget and tell me this isn't Reaganism gone berserk.
